Job Requirements for Truck Driver Position
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
- Clean driving abstract
- Minimum 2 years driving experience or driver’s training certificate
- Excellent safety record
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with refrigerated transport is an asset
Compensation Package
Single miles
- Mileage rate (Starting at) $0.46/mile Canadian
- Mileage rate (Starting at) $0.62/mile US
- Pick-up – $25.00/hr
- Detention – $18.00/hr
Team miles
- Canada mileage rate – (Starting at) $0.31/mile each driver
- US mileage rate – (Starting at) $0.39/mile each driver
- Pick-up – $15.55/hr each driver

Responsibilities for Truck Driver Position
- Safely operate trucks for long-haul routes across Canada and the US
- Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition and on schedule
- Maintain safety and temperature control standards during transport
- Load and unload deliveries with care and accuracy
- Complete delivery documentation such as invoices and delivery confirmations
- Provide friendly and professional service to all customers
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and roadworthy
- Report any delays, issues, or incidents to the supervisor in a timely manner
Other Responsibilities
- Support warehouse staff with order preparation and packing
- Assist with restocking and organizing inventory
- Follow proper hygiene and safety procedures at all times
- Assist during high-volume periods or staff shortages as needed
